Apantac Teams up with Qualis Audio for Multiviewer Audio Loudness Monitoring at NAB 2012
Apantac, provider of Multiviewers, signal processing, and extensions solutions for the broadcast and professional AV marketplace will partner with Qualis Audio at NAB 2012 (N4806). The NAB technology demonstration will showcase a special combination of Qualis Audio loudness monitoring on an Apantac “Universal” Multiviewer.
The Qualis Audio Sentinel surround sound audio monitor measures, monitors and logs loudness and virtually every other parameter necessary to ensure optimum audio reaches your viewers. The electronic equivalent of a human listener, it operates unattended, eliminating continuous aural checks by skilled listeners. This unique ability significantly reduces personnel requirements, and attendant cost, while improving the consistency of audio monitoring. Additional key features include; notification and logging, dual-stream loudness measurement, a comprehensive set of quality assurance tools, as well as quantitative metrics.
The TAHOMA-DE “Universal” Series of Multiviewers supports a mix of up to 16 video and / or computer formats (including HDMI, DVI, VGA, YPbPr, YC, composite and SDI) in one multi-image display processor. All TAHOMA-DE models support DVI/HDMI/VGA outputs at resolutions up to 2048x1080 (50 / 60 Hz), including support for 1080p. They also support an optional HD / SD-SDI output.
