Apantac Adds UHD output capability to its T# Multiviewer at ISE 2017
Apantac, provider of cost-effective multiviewers, video walls, extenders, and signal processing solutions is adding UHD output capability to its modular and multiformat T# Multiviewer at ISE 2017, stand 10-S114.
Apantac will demonstrate a T# Multiviewer with one UHD Output and four HD outputs. The UHD output will be displayed on a large 2x2 46” monitor stack as well as on one UHD DP 1.2 monitor. This will showcase the flexibility and exceptionally high quality visualization of the product for command centers, control rooms, and other similar operation and situation centers. Its reliable hardware modular architecture and configuration software ensures that the solution is ideal for mission-critical applications.
The T# is truly a modular, multiformat Multiviewer. The 4 RU chassis has two slots for output boards. Each output board can be set to provide four HD outputs or a single UHD output – RGB 4:4:4 at 3840 x 2106 @ 50/60 Hz. It is also possible to display the UHD picture on a 2x2 HD monitor stack. Different rear output modules are available to provide a mix of HDMI, HDMI over CAT 6, HDBaseT, SDI or Fiber signals.
For input support, the 4 RU chassis has 8 input slots that accept a mix of various input boards. Depending on the input board model, various input formats are accepted: traditional broadcast video signals from Composite to 4K/UHD over copper or fiber, HDMI/DVI signals, as well as video over ASI/IP (MPEG4/2 and H.264).
The T# Multiviewers Series is scalable and can display up to 64 different sources on up to 8 screens. The source PIPs (picture in picture) can be duplicated as many times as needed to the various outputs.
For control and configuration, the T# Multiviewer series includes Apantac JDirector, a Java based configuration application that is both user-friendly and powerful.
The T# Multiviewer with UHD output capability will be demonstrated at Apantac’s ISE 2017 stand, 10-S114.
